Lou Howard is an Adelaide-based musician and poet. Since completing their Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) at the Elder Conservatorium of Music Lou has performed in groups such as The Bigfoot Collective, Baby Wants Candy (Adelaide Fringe) and Tales (Adelaide 500) and Bromham (WOMADelaide).
Howard was commissioned as composer and soundscape/foley artist for Cirkidz & Prospect Theatre for Young People’s "Fear (Not)" 2019 and has had their poetry published in Friendly Street Poets Anthology "Q". In 2022 Lou recorded as vocalist for Kelly Doddridge on his latest EP "Phonation".
Lou plays in Bromham and is currently composing and performing jazz informed folk music set to original spoken and sung poetry.
